Starfish at the United Nations

Starfish was honored to speak at the Vienna Food Safety Forum 2025, hosted by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) at the UN Headquarters in Vienna from June 10–12.

This global event brought together leaders from regulatory agencies, industry, and academia to explore the transformative role of digitalization in food safety—with a spotlight on AI, data traceability, and international information sharing.

Our CEO, Wiggs Civitillo, spoke on the role of digital traceability solutions and data standards in tackling interoperability challenges and creating more transparent, connected, and trusted food systems worldwide.

We were proud to represent Starfish on the global stage and contribute to this critical conversation about the future of food safety.
