Partnership Announcement: iComplai

We’re pleased to announce a new collaboration between Starfish and iComplai that enables food and beverage companies to detect and respond to supply chain risks with greater speed and precision.

The integration connects iComplai’s AI-driven monitoring—covering global food recalls, fraud cases, regulatory changes, and emerging contamination risks—with the Starfish data platform. This allows companies to automatically match these external signals with their own supplier and ingredient data, without needing to leave their existing systems.

For example, if a salmonella recall is reported in a specific country affecting a supplier of paprika or milk powder, the system can immediately notify all impacted teams across procurement, quality, and compliance—enabling rapid risk mitigation.

“This is about real-time risk visibility,” said Wiggs Civitillo, CEO of Starfish. “Our users can now link alerts from iComplai directly to their own data, making it easier to act before issues turn into disruptions.”

“Food companies don’t need more data—they need relevant insights, delivered to the right people,” said Asli Solmaz-Kaiser, CEO of iComplai. “Through this partnership, we bring risk signals directly into operational workflows, where decisions are made.”

This collaboration helps companies move from manual monitoring to intelligent automation—improving traceability, compliance, and speed of response without the need to overhaul IT infrastructure.
