Partnership Announcement: CAT Squared

This collaboration allows food manufacturers to connect production floor data captured by CAT Squared’s MES with their broader network of supply chain partners using Starfish’s neutral, secure data-sharing platform. The result is end-to-end traceability, enhanced visibility, and simplified compliance with regulatory frameworks such as FSMA 204.

As part of its Real-Time Supply Chain Traceability Initiative, CAT Squared has introduced two integrated solutions powered by the Starfish interoperability network.
FoodTrace Compliance Portal, which automates FSMA 204 data exchange with regulatory and supply chain partners
FoodTrace Transparency Portal, which enables brands to share verified origin and ESG data with consumers via branded QR-code experiences at point of sale
The integrated solution supports GS1 EPCIS standards and harmonizes data from diverse systems without requiring major changes to a company’s existing tech stack. By automating traceability workflows and reducing manual reporting, manufacturers gain greater control over how, when, and with whom data is shared.
